The top games genre are shooting, racing, and action/adventure.  For instance, Destiny, Halo, Ghost Recon, and Call of Duty has been the most popular and best-seller of shooting games.  As for racing games, Gran Turismo and Forza are the trend of racing games.  Finally, action/adventure games like Elder Scrolls V:  Skyrim, and Elder Scrolls IV:  Oblivion has become the Greatest Hits platform.  Whether from Console, PC or App, games has been a trend not just for entertainment, but as educational purposes as well.
